Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises (or TRE®) is designed to be a self-help tool that, once learned, can be used throughout one’s life to proactively release buildup of stress and to maintain long term balance. They are based on the fundamental idea, backed by research, that stress, tension and trauma are both psychological and physical.

They can complement other soothing and stress-relieving practices such as meditation and work differently. In fact they are perfect for anyone who find it hard to meditate.

TRE® has been taught all over the world to successfully release stress for students before exam, to generally healthy adults, athletes as well as victims of trauma such as war and natural disasters.

In this class you will be guided to release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma by activating a natural reflex mechanism of shaking or tremouring, common to all mammals, releasing patterns of stress held in the muscles and myofascia, otherwise hard to release. When this muscular tremouring mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the nervous system and the body naturally return back to a state of balance and become more resourceful. Regular practice of TRE® can help one to develop more resilience in their nervous system and increase its ability to respond appropriately in different situations. With a robust nervous system, immune, endocrine and all body systems functioning can improve.

What to expect:

In this class you will start with gentle warm up and stretching, followed by receiving guidance on activating your reflex tremor in the hip flexor muscles lying down on the floor. The set of exercises are friendly to all fitness condition. Come with something comfortable to move in (or come earlier to change).

This 60-min session is limited to 7 participants only in observance of current government guidelines on public gathering. Each participant will receive a lot of individual guidance on TRE®.
