Data Retention Policy

We retain personal data collected through our services only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, provide our services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

Account & User Profile Information:

Retained for as long as your account remains active. If an account is inactive for more than 24 months, or upon receiving a deletion request, we will initiate the data purging process.

Transaction & Service Records:

Retained for up to 7 years to satisfy tax, accounting, and legal requirements under applicable laws.

Handling After Retention Period:

Once the applicable retention period expires, personal data is permanently erased from our active databases and securely overwritten or destroyed in accordance with industry security standards.

Data Deletion Process

Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data and account at any time.

In-App Account Deletion:

You can request account deletion directly within the mobile application by navigating to Account Settings > Delete Account and following the on-screen prompts.

Email / Manual Request:

If you are unable to access the app or wish to submit a custom request, you can send an email to: office@ilivinghk.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please include the following details to help us locate your account:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • A brief note specifying what data you would like deleted

Processing Time & Confirmation:

We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion of your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations requiring retention. You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete.
